Dear Distinguished Delegates, Honorable Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen,
It gives me great pleasure to extend to you all a very warm welcome on behalf of the Breast Cancer society of Taiwan (BCST) for joining us for the Annual Congress for 2016. We are delighted to have you here to participate and share for this year′s Annual Congress. Thank you for coming.
It is my great honor to have this opportunity to gather all of us who are actively involved in breast cancer research and care on this occasion. Many of you have travelled long distances to join us today serve to remind us all just how important our work is.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude towards my predecessors and our board members for their kind support in making this a successful event. It is a great pleasure for TIBCS to invite some of the greatest esteemed experts in breast cancer field from around the world to share with us on the advancement of breast cancer care and research for the event.
This year our theme is, Precision Medicine: From Local Control to Systemic Treatment. It is our goal to provide precision care to our patients and to provide tailored care & treatment for each individual patient. In combination with the latest medical advancements and cross industry collaboration to make disease prevention, treatment and care more precision focused.
It is gratifying to note that the agenda for this two day congress covers a wide range of very interesting topics which we look forward to your active participation and prepare yourself to be challenged, excited and inspired. I hope you will enjoy the program and bring back the valuable experiences back to your clinical practices.
In concluding, I wish you every success in your deliberations and a very pleasant stay in Taipei.
